Job Description

The Auditor will be responsible for executing end-to-end audit assignments, reviewing financial records, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong practical exposure to audits for US, UK, and Australian clients, along with hands-on experience using region-specific accounting and audit software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits for clients in US, UK, and Australia.
  • Assess internal controls, policies, and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify risks, gaps, and areas for process improvement.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with observations and recommendations.
  • Ensure adherence to US GAAP, UK GAAP, IFRS, and Australian Accounting Standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to verify data and resolve queries.
  • Maintain organized audit documentation, working papers, and evidence.
  • Deliver audits on schedule while maintaining high quality and accuracy.

Required Software & Tools Expertise

  • United States: QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, CaseWare, CCH ProSystem fx / Axcess
  • United Kingdom: Xero, Sage UK, IRIS, CaseWare UK, VT Software
  • Australia: Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Online (AU), HandiSoft, Class Super
  • Other Tools: Advanced MS Excel, Google Sheets, cloud-based audit/documentation tools

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of auditing experience with international exposure.
  • Strong understanding of US, UK, and Australian accounting and audit standards.
  • Proficiency with accounting and audit software for the respective countries.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage multiple audits across time zones and meet deadlines.
